It’s good to have a soul artist like Corinne back in the game. Back to making records after taking a short break after her husband passed away earlier last year, Corinne pours her heart out through her music, the best kind of therapy there is. Darker in overall sound and tone, her voice has shown incredible growth between albums, as have her lyrics. Great bass lines and guitar riffs shadow her beautiful voice and lyrics perfectly… a jazzy compliment to her on every track. Really, I’m stunned. I wasnt impressed at all with the last album, but this one… she is in the zone. And you need to hear it. The Sea is definitely worth checking out, if you have the time.
