Why not? Stunning voice that sounds like Billie Holiday and Chaka Khan if they mated. Wonderful sense and understanding of musicianship, knows how to stay and sound current. Updated funk and soul with hip hop all in it, to keep everyone entertained. Incredibly reliable when you want great music, as she has yet to fail in the last 4 albums shes released. Good Music.
She must have heard that a rough copy of “Jump Up In The Air” had leaked a few months ago… she starts promotion of her new album with the same track released on ErykahBadu.com earlier today. While she throws a maybe on the end of her release date… I think were pretty much guaranteed new music really soon.
Sade, Erykah, Kaki. 2010 is a good year for music thus far. LoL.
