Metric: Fantasies | Live It Out

Nice.

Sound: Rock with a touch of that Electro/New Wave Pop.
Album: Fantasies (2009)

Why?
Much like Phoenix, these kids have a knack for a great pop tune, and know how to rock it over a great electronic beat, with just the right touches of indie influences. Their sound is fresh and new, even though they are about 4 albums into the game. With songs like “Help, I’m alive,” “Combat Baby,” and the newer stuff like “Gimme Sympathy…” I’m pretty sure this group will be around for a while. Hope they don’t break up or anything.
