No you guys… I didn’t forget about you or my blogbaby. I’m still on the vacation.

Frankly, I'm having the time of my life... and I just need to enjoy it.

Hey people out there who still care.

I needed to drop in on you and just let you know where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to. A lot of you have been worried that I’ve abandoned ship when it comes to my blog… and I HAVE to tell you… this is NOT the case. As you can see, I officially bought out the name ‘Music Nerdery’ for the blog… so you know its all mine now. But the last 6 weeks of my life have been busy and beautiful. Witnessing my baby cousin graduate from Hampton while Obama watched… Trying to keep Kaki King from diving off into insanity world, cheering on the Lakers (GOOO LAKERS!!!) and doing some of the best traveling I’ve done in my life… starting from the lower keys of Florida (That photo you see up there? Yeah. The Keys are Beautiful), ending in New York in a few days. Jets, helicopters, private limos, penthouse suites…. Sometimes, logging off the interwebs for a few weeks is a great thing.

It doesn’t matter how far I travel tho… I’m always thinking about this blog and all the wonderful music that I’ve been hearing and concerts I’ve seen while I’ve been away… from the amazing win that is Miike Snow live (along with his kickass album…) Kaki King’s best live shows to date (yeah we got that shit on tape… can’t WAIT to blog it for you), the epic WIN that is the new Damian/Nas album, Kate Nash’s awesome new joint, my discovery of an amazing artist Careena, dinner with Kaki King and Mike Eizinger from Incubus (hell yes, life is complete), falling in love with Slayer and Megadeth like its 1992 all over again… there’s so much good music and news I need to cover. And I will. Dont worry.

In the meantime… just give me a while to absorb all the awesome that is going on in my life… and appreciate the blessings given to me. I should be back to doing my thing in late June, no later than the start of July. I promise. As usual… just scroll through the archives. I’ve got tons of stuff for you.

And yes, when I get back… we’ll get back to the status of VH1Soul.  Pinkie Swear.
