The “All the Albums Music Nerdery Thought were Amazing in 2010 and you should probably check out” List.

This is a compiled list of awesome that it took me about 3 weeks to put together, then edit out. This list is composed of albums that had a major release or push behind them. I’m leaving out mixtapes and other smaller projects because you guys get your own list soon.

So basically, these are the albums that moved me, made me happy or made me feel some kind of way about something amazing. The More Detailed Version of My Top 25 Artists via last.fm post; This list contains everything that I was listening to via iPods, Car and Bedroom Stereos. Stuff that was given to me behind the scenes… and played there as well. The music I listened to while I traveled the world. Label Work. Concert funs. Great times.

This list is in absolutely no real order; other than genre, perhaps.
If I really liked it, I’ll throw a * by it.

    Really dope list Ericka but you’re missing a few good LP’s. Here are a few albums I would also include;

    1. Flying Lotus – Cosmogramma
    2. Electric Wire Hustle – Electric Wire Hustle (released in 2009 but officially dropped in US in 2010)*
    3. The The Foreign Exchange – Authenticity
    4. Onra – Long Distance
    5. Blue Six – Noesis
    6. Roc Marciano – Marceberg

    PS, I’m glad you liked the Blackmagic [LP] by Jose James. I had a chance to see him live this summer and he killed it.

    Where can I get the DJ Jedi – Prince cd/mp3?

    • E

      He might be down to his last copies. I know you can get it from Turntable Lab in Los Angeles. If youre not in LA, you can always hit him up on his twitter (if you have one) and he can get it to you for you.
