Now remember how I’ve been harping on and on and on and ON about the magnificently wonderful, retro-awesome VV Brown? You should. It was my very first site post. Welp, two years after her landmark first album, VV (Vanessa) Brown returns with her latest uptempo dance party single “Children (Keep On Singing)” supposedly from a forth coming EP called “The Playground.” With a NOTICEABLY deeper, more distinct voice then what we heard on her first album, VV uses the “Do your ears hang low?” Ice Cream Man song, uptempo choruses, 808 beats, hand claps and throwbacks to come up with a really catchy joint. The rapping bridge kinda missed me, but I’m still over here doing the wop right now. Review and download below… tell me what you think, then tell your friends.
Then watch one of my old favorites… Crying Blood. Or as I occasionally call it, The 2009 Monster Mash.
Tell me what you think, and enjoy.
