With my review on The Away Team’s “Scars and Stripes” album for potholes around the corner, its only natural that my boy Khrysis start droppin tracks in anticipation for the new project. To my surprise, he actually released one of my favorite joints “What Is This;” one of the better tracks on an already impressive album that also features a nice appearance from Evidence (whose own recent release “Cats and Dogs” also does not suck). What doesn’t surprise me is the positive feedback the track is getting after only being out one day. Dope drums and a nice loop sample give this track a real hip hop vibe while Khrysis and Ev go all the way in. Listen below, cop the new album on 10/11/11 and ENJOY.
