Musicians Most Likely to be Found in Casinos:

Casinos in Las Vegas and other cities attract people from nearly every walk of life, from plumbers to policeman to some of the world’s most famous musicians and artists, all drawn by the chance to test fate and to try to walk way a big winner. While you’re more likely to find most musicians performing at a casino instead of trying their luck at the blackjack tables (or even playing at an online casino), there are several famous musicians who try their luck at the poker tables at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) each year.

Coolio, Nelly, and Ja Rule have all played in the $10,000 buy-in WSOP Main Event in recent years, using poker’s biggest tournament as a chance to not just gamble it up a bit but to also get plenty of publicity and interact with fans. They haven’t yet managed to match their musical success at the poker tables yet but it’s not for lack of trying, with Nelly especially playing frequently in games in Atlantic City as well as in several other international tournaments held around the world.

As far as musicians who have shown their chops at the poker tables, two musicians from very different genres have had notable success at the tables. Sully Erna of Godsmack has won nearly $400,000 in his poker tournament career (including cashing twice in the WSOP Main Event) while French singer Patrick Bruel has collected more than $1 million in lifetime winnings at poker, including winning a coveted WSOP bracelet in 1998 for winning a World Series of Poker tournament.

Joining famous musicians at the WSOP may be easier than you think, as online sites offer the chance to win a full trip package — including your $10,000 buy-in to the Main Event — for just a few dollars by playing your way in through a series of smaller buy-in tournaments. Check out online casino reviews to find the poker sites that have the best offers; play your cards right and you might just find yourself seated at the same table as some of the musicians above when the next World Series of Poker rolls around!

Well. But always this is not true. There are getting lots of  expensive prizes or cash. Ja Rule also got the prize.
