Updates and More Info on Chuck D’s ‘Freedom Now’ Book Launch and ‘Operation: Skid Row Concert’ on January 15th.

So remember when I posted about that impromptu PE show happening in Downtown LA?
Well, after reaching out to the event planner for Sunday’s events, it sounds like a pretty action packed day. Here’s what I have.
Set to start at 10am, Chuck will be signing copies of his newest book, “Freedom Now” for fans until 1pm.
Now from there is where it gets tricky. The concert location will be tweeted at the last minute via the Go Skid Row Go account, also the planners of this event. You’ll have to stay close to THAT ACCOUNT in order to find out where the show will be at exactly and how to get there.

From the email for you:

“Freedom Now” book launch event will take place on Sunday, January 15 at 10am-1pm at the Grammy Museum, near Staples Center in L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles. Please contact the Grammy Museum for more details.
What I can say at this point regarding the Skid Row Music Festival is that it will begin immediately after the book launch event at a location in Skid Row in Downtown L.A.
The exact location will be released within the next couple of days in order to properly control the event. The first announcement of the actual location will be revealed @GoSkidRowGo on Twitter.

The line up currently includes Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Kurupt from the Dogg Pound, Mellow Man Ace and Zzyzzx, King T, Rapper’s Rapp Group, Sir Jinx and General Population, OG Kid Frost, L.A. Posse, and the Egyptian Lover.
That’s everything there is to know about the show right now, minus what Amoeblog was able to pull. If anything else pops up different… I’ll update and let you know.
Go have fun and do something constructive with your day.
