Live Footage of D’Angelo Performing First Show (& New Music) in 10 years | D’s Tour Manager starts a Tour Diary. I will be watching it like my life depended on it.

So as D’angelo arrives in the UK to start his tour and Europe shits its pants, it starts to seem more and more evident that what I’ve been yelling about for the last two years is true. D’Angelo is making a valid and valiant attempt to get back to his music. And I cant wait to see where this goes.

Meanwhile over at Okayplayer, Tina Farris (Tour Manager for D’Angelo) has decided she is going to keep a full touring diary on how everything is going. Her first entry finds her geeked to see D’Angelo on the plane to Europe; she then goes into detail about who’s doing, playing and working what for the shows. Knowing Tina, she’s going to keep this blog alive and active for all to see. You should probably watch if you care.

Meanwhile, someone in Europe is my person hero, as they wasted NO time getting home, and uploading some very amazing footage of D’Angelo on stage for his first stage show in a very long time. Performing Chicken Grease, he’s looking good, his band is sounding better and the fans are loving it. I honestly can’t believe it happened; PLEASE MUSIC JEBUS, SEND THIS MAN TO THE STATES SOON.
