Video: Tanya Morgan – Rock The Bells. | Mini Interview with Von Pea. Great Hip Hop; basically flawless. Please watch.

I love Tanya Morgan. No Lesbo.
If you dont know, go catch up.
Fresh off their trip through Europe (photo of awesome above), they return stateside with even more focus and content/material for you to enjoy. Now if you havent downloaded their (FREE) mixtape, You and What Army?, you’ve lost your tired little mind and you dont like Hip Hop. I tried to tell you a few weeks ago how awesome that album is. Go get that now.

In celebration of the new video, I sat down with Von Pea and got the good information on the video, touring, and plans for the future.

Music Nerdery: Where and when did you film it, how long did it take you, who are the (important) people involved? Who is in the clip with you. How was Europe? Just tell me everything. (laughs)

Von Pea:
We shot this one in Brooklyn at the same place we shot the headphone rock video. Our peoples Vasha, Spec Boogie, Aeon, Black Spade, P.So, and Ill Digits from Kooley High came through to shoot with us. We were going to do typical cameos at first but it seemed cooler to have everybody involved a little more with the bells. That was Brian’s idea… Brian Petchers shot the video. We met him through 6th Sense, who we’re working on an album with. That project doesnt have a definite name anymore but its coming along…we have a lot of songs that are played live versus sampled like usual. Brian came through to the studio one day and shot some stuff, and told us he’d love to do a video with us. Our next step is finishing that album but we probably will shoot another video for the “you and what army” ep. No idea what song itll be yet! I ended up answering everything with one answer! (laughs)

Welp, that works for me. In the meantime, you listen and watch Rock The Bells, one of my favoritest tracks from the mixtape that you need in your life.

Enjoy.
