New Music: JacuzziHiDive is making some decent Funk for you. Check them out:

The self-described ‘masters of Retro-Funk’ are onto something over here.

Following in the steps of Dam Funk, JacuzziHiDive breaks out the synth keyboards and adds a touch of that special 70s/80s funk to their usual style with their newest track, Something Good. A wonderful uptempo jam that you can easily two-step to at a summer barbecue, Something Good is a funky little jam with ill bass lines, nice synth pianos and Aily Iglesias’ light-yet-mellifluous vocals on the track. Featuring laid back guitar work from Macario Gutierrez Jr.,  All I Know has that 70′s groove that was seemingly designed for dancefloors and roller rinks everywhere. I am not mad at them channeling their inner 1980s right now, as long as its well done… and they are building a discography of well done tracks.

Already well established with a long history and several releases to their name, JHD is releasing their new single in both digital and vinyl format for you uber nerds. Head over to their bandcamp or connect with them via their Twitter. Just be sure to give their music a listen if you are into the throwback funk movement we are seemingly in the middle of.

…and some extras for you to enjoy.
