In other amazing news to keep your summer interesting and entertaining, the city of Santa Monica are throwing their yearly free concert series starting July 5th. Pointed out by Koga and the awesome folks at scenestar, the line up includes appearances from Best Coast (yay) and Amadou & Miriam (omgwow) for a diverse array of musical talent I’m sure you will enjoy. More FREE shows are coming at you Scenestar readers! This time the setting is Santa Monica when bands take the stage at the Santa Monica Pier for a series of concerts every Thursday into September as part of the 28th Annual Twilight Concert Series. Starting off the year will be Donavon Frankenreiter on Thursday, July 5. Other Scenestar favorites taking the stage this summer will be Amadou & Mariam, Haim and Best Coast who will be closing out the FREE concert series on Thursday, Sept. 6.
