Exactly a year after her passing, a new Amy Winehouse track leaks.  You know it’s got to be somewhat valid, because it single-handedly has me posting again.

Released by Pinboard blog, the undated record sounds as if its coming from the early “Frank” era, featuring a husky toned Amy singing about things we all love; jazz, blues, money and the things it can bring. While the soul influenced track is a great backdrop for her to jam on, it remains Amy’s writing and vocals that catch my attention.

Good to get any kind of new music in this situation. Recently been feeling some kind of way about her being gone. It still really hurts my musical feelings, and we know how sensitive those are. Maybe I’ll write about it in-between work and life. If not, the song should be enough to hold you over.
