Natalie Duncan is AMAZEBALLS.
Im not going to get into it too much just yet, as I am working on a post that demonstrates the UK coming to kick America’s ass in soul music, and she will be in it.
What I will say is this. Great voice. Better pianist. Dark history. She uses the music to get away from it and you can tell. Its like Amy Winehouse’s crazy met up with whats left of Alicia Keys’ talent and made a new person named Natalie. Soul and jazz elements combined with classical piano training. Its pretty damn cool.
For now, listen to her work out her issues through her music. Because she does not suck at it thus far.
