The sound engineer for D’Angelo’s new album announces its almost done; no one pays attention.

Oh but *I* did.

So in other awesome D news, a good friend of mine and sound engineer to D’Angelo drops some awesome news off on twitter that you should also pay attention to. According to Ben, it appears as if D is in the final stages of his album, and this was posted up about a month ago. I am really excited to check in on progress to see where its at, but as usual, I’ll kick back, let Ben do his thing, and let him tell us when he’s ready. As a D’Angelo SuperStan, I thought I’d just point that out for you all though.

        Nevermind. I found it. It’s called “When I Die” by Motherlode. It was sampled by J Dilla on “Donuts” on the song “Welcome to the Show”.
